To explore vehicle charge information:
- The charge indicator shows whether or not your vehicle is currently charging as well as its latest charge level. If the vehicle is not currently charging, the indicator shows the last reported charge. If the vehicle is currently charging, the indicator shows its current estimated charge.
Note that your vehicle charge information is projected information. Its accuracy depends on the accuracy of the information you have provided about your vehicle.
- The Electric Car Details section shows you the following information:
- Charge status shows whether or not your vehicle is currently charging.
- Mode shows which option you are using for charging your vehicle.
- Ready at shows when your vehicle will be ready to drive following charging.
To manually start or stop your vehicle charging:
- Under the Smart Controls section, click Manual charge if your vehicle is not currently charging and you want to start charging.
- Click Stop charging if your vehicle is currently charging and you want to stop charging.
To set automatic charge settings:
- Under the Smart Controls section, click Automatic charge.
- When the Set Current Charge and Mileage page opens, set the charge settings to use for your vehicle.
To explore energy use information for your electric vehicle:
- The chart shows your energy consumption for vehicle charging. Drag the bottom slider back and forth to see earlier and later time periods of energy use. If you drag an end of the slider, you can expand or reduce the time period that is in view for the graph.
- Click the View Details link on the chart to open the Energy Detail page, which allows you to explore more information about the energy use for your vehicle charge activity.
To edit your electric vehicle settings:
- Click the wrench icon to the right of the Smart Controls section.
- The Electric Vehicle Setup page opens and guides you through specifying your electric vehicle settings and preferences.
