The light bulb and fixture page provides information and tools for managing a selected network light.

To explore information about the selected light bulb or fixture:

  1. The chart in the top panel shows real-time energy consumption for the selected light, including both its current and average energy consumption. Drag the bottom slider back and forth to see earlier and later time periods of energy use. If you drag an end of the slider, you can expand or reduce the time period that is in view for the graph.
  2. Click the View Details link on the chart to open the Energy Detail page, which allows you to explore more information about your energy use.
  3. Compare your current usage against your average usage to the right of the chart.
  4. Compare the light's energy usage to other lights in the room under the Device Comparison panel. Click any of the time links under the chart to view the comparison for that time period.
  5. Under the Basic tab in the bottom panel, the Energy Summary panel shows the selected light's current and average energy consumption. This information comes from the chart in the top panel.
  6. Under the Statistics tab in the bottom panel, view information about the light type and usage, including number of hours the light has been powered on.

To control the selected light bulb or fixture:

  1. Click the Basic tab in the bottom panel, if it is not already selected.
  2. To turn on or off the light, click the Power On or Power Off buttons.
  3. To brighten or dim the light, drag the slider control next to the light's control box up or down. The further up you drag the slider, the brighter the light becomes. The further down you drag the slider, the dimmer the light becomes. The dimmer setting is remembered, and that setting is applied when you turn the light on.

To create or update a fixture:

  1. Click the Fixture tab in the bottom panel, if it is not already selected.
  2. Provide a name and optionally select an image to associate with the fixture.
  3. To add a light bulb to the fixture, click the + Add Bulb button. When the Add Bulbs page opens, select the light bulb in the left panel and then click the Add button to add it to the list of fixture light bulbs in the right panel. You can also remove a light bulb from the fixture light bulbs list by selecting it in the right panel and then clicking the Remove button. When you are finished, click the OK button to return to the main light bulb and fixture page.
  4. To remove a light bulb from the fixture, select the light bulb under the far right panel under the Fixture tab, and then click the - Remove Bulb button.
  5. When you operate the fixture, all of the added light bulbs will operate together.

To rename the selected light bulb or fixture or to change its associated image:

  1. Click the Fixture tab in the bottom panel.
  2. In the Name field, type the name you want to use for the light.
  3. If you have an image file on your computer that you want to use as the light's icon, click the Browse button, and then navigate to the image file on your computer to select it.

To add or remove the selected light bulb or fixture from a remote group:

  1. If you want to assign the selected light bulb or fixture to a remote group, select the Assign to Remote Group check box under the Basic tab in the bottom panel.
  2. Select to numbered circle for each remote group number to which you want to assign the light. This number corresponds to the group number on your remote control.
  3. When you operate any of the assigned remote groups, the added light will be included.

To remove the selected light bulb from your Connected Lighting:

  1. Click the Basic tab in the bottom panel.
  2. Click the Delete button.
  3. When prompted, confirm that you want to delete the light bulb.

To work with Smart Controls that control the selected light bulb or fixture:

  1. Click the Smart Control tab in the bottom panel.
  2. To activate a Smart Control, click it in the Smart Control list.
  3. To access other Smart Control options, place your mouse over the Smart Control and click the options menu when it appears. Select a menu option to perform with the Smart Control:
    • Details/Edit: Select this option to view or edit the details of the Smart Control.
    • Delete: Select this option to delete the Smart Control. A prompt opens where you must confirm the deletion request. You cannot delete default smart controls.
    • Pause Schedule: Select this option to pause the Smart Control, if scheduled. When a Smart Control is paused its icon in the list turns gray and appears with a paused symbol.
    • Start Schedule: Select this option to start the Smart Control's schedule, if it is currently paused
