Home Overview of PowerNodes

A PowerNode is a smart outlet adapter that connects your appliances and electronics (referred to as "devices") to electrical outlets and your energy management system. When you plug your devices into PowerNodes, the devices are made available to the Consumer Portal via the Gateway connection, allowing you to manage those devices through the Consumer Portal. PowerNodes are available with a one-port or multi-port configuration. When you plug multiple devices into a multi-port PowerNode, you can manage all of those devices individually through the Consumer Portal.

How do I add a new PowerNode to the Consumer Portal?

  1. Physically connect the new PowerNode to your energy management system. Refer to the PowerNode User Guide or the Installation Guide for instructions on connecting the PowerNode and plugging in your devices.
  2. When the new PowerNode is connected to your energy management system, click the Settings menu.
  3. When the Settings page opens, click the Set Up Wizards option in the menu on the left side of the page.
  4. Click the PowerNodes option under Set Up Wizards.
